Megan Henderson

Instructor

Megan grew up at Stage I dancing for 13 years before graduating high school in 2016. During her time at the studio, she was a part of the Performing Company for seven years and assisted with dance classes for four years. She trained in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and modern. During her years at Stage I, Megan attended many competitions and conventions and learned from many amazing master teachers. She also attended DanceWorks Teacher Connection, a training convention for dance teachers, for two years in high school. After high school, Megan attended Anderson University where she majored in Elementary Education and minored in Special Education with a focus on teaching reading. Although dance was not her focus, she was able to take several dance classes at Anderson from many amazing professors. After graduation, Megan began teaching 2nd Grade at Sugar Grove Elementary School in 2020. Megan is so excited to be back at Stage I as an instructor! She is looking forward to transferring her skills from the classroom into the dance studio.
