Erin Booher

Music and singing have always been a special part of Erin’s life. After graduating from high school, Erin continued her study of voice and piano at Ball State University. During her time there, she was honored to sing and dance as a glee club member and accompanist to Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassador’s, The Ball State University Singers. Erin was a member of the Homecoming Steering Committee serving as the Talent Search Chair. She also had the privilege of studying music at the University of Indianapolis where she was a part of many chamber and large concert ensembles. After graduating from college, Erin was delighted to begin teaching Elementary Music in the Franklin Township to students in grades K-4 where she conducted choir, led music sharing nights, and directed student productions. She has taught private piano and voice lessons as well. Over the years she has enjoyed the thrill of performing major works such as Verdi’s Requiem and most recently the Nelson Mass by Haydn at the Christel Dehaan Fine Arts Center. With Erin’s passion for teaching and empowering the younger generation, she finds joy in serving in various roles of music and leadership in her church and community.
